It's true.. It did get "drunk". it's ridiculous and now we the tax payers have to bail these people out. How will people learn? I heard an analogy yesterday, it's like your kid getting a DUI and we bail him out of jail and give the keys right back to him. These people are just going to go and do the same mistakes again in the future.

Maybe we should try to fight inflation...

"Wall Street got Drunk"?? sounds like someone DOES NOT know what they are talking about.

It is not Wall Street that makes Credit avaliable it is the FED ( Banking families ) by cutting the rate. The FED is NOT Wall street. So again Taxpayers are paying for the FED FUCKING UP.

It sounds like you do not get what he is saying..

He is saying Wall Street - meaning Wachovia, Freddie, Fannie, Bearn Sterns, INDY MAC.. these guys are wall street.. they got drunk on ability to give credit out on these risky financial instruments such as 5 year fixed APR then variable.. or all interest loan for the first number of years.

The Fed may have made the credit available to the banks, but it was these companies (WALL STREET) that made these mortgage instruments up - it was their decision to loan money to people who CAN NOT pay them back.

He is not saying that the FED is WALL street.

There is one thing I do agree with your comment though, the fed is bailing everyone out from being drunk (read my previous post) that the tax payers are going to pay for. FREE MARKET IS THE KEY TO PROSPERITY...
